Paul van Nieuwenburg (Soesterberg, The Netherlands)
went to the Academy of Fine Arts in Utrecht
switched to Dutch and Drawing at a COE 
and was admitted to Ateliers 63 
but expelled shortly after.

PRESENT
In his recent work, Paul starts from an idea that usually changes during the process into something he then sees or what his material shows him. This can be a coincidental association, but also a conscious new mindset. Often it concerns experiences and previous opinions that he reconsiders, rejects and replaces with his current thoughts.
