Went to the Academy of Fine Arts in Utrecht
Switched to Dutch and Drawing at a COE
Was admitted to Ateliers 63 in Haarlem
But expelled soon after

Fine, then I'll do it myself, he said and so he did
He traveled the world
Worked as an artist in Spain, England and Italy
Became an esteemed art director and copywriter 
Taught at an academy in Amsterdam
And founded Bluetrout Projects
